About Me

My journey into professional massage started over a decade ago when I left my job as a River Engineer and followed my curiosity into the realm of the healing arts. I graduated from East West College of Healing Arts in Portland in 2012 and have continued studying the physical body, movement, health, and healing in various capacities since.

The complex interplay of body, mind, and spirit is a constant marvel to me, endlessly more dynamic than fluvial morphology or the effects of climate change on hydrology. Our awareness of subtlety and nuance in each realm informs our understanding of the others. While massage undoubtedly has numerous health benefits such as reducing pain and stress, opening new movement patterns, etc., I believe the greatest benefit of receiving bodywork is increased body awareness, stoked curiosity, and inspiration via new conversations about healing the body and the heart.
